Elder Ronald A. Rasband (Apr. '20): Fulfillment of Prophecy"

Explanation:

The ideas in this blog are meant to be used in small, home-like environments (2-5 people), although any of them could be adapted for other contexts.  I am also envisioning these activities as guided by a parent(s), but again that need not be the case.  For teaching ideas to use in Relief Society and Elders Quorum classes see my other blog here.

For Adults/Teens/Tweens:

  1. Read some or all of these scriptures referenced by Elder Rasband
    1. Daniel 2:36-45
    2. Acts 3:21
    3. Eph. 1:10; 2:19-20
    4. II Ne. 3:6-8
    5. Mal. 4:5-6
    6. Isaiah 2:2-5
  2. Discuss how these scriptures have been and/or are being fulfilled
  3. Read par. 12 ("To a small . . . fill the world") and par. 24 ("No unhallowed hand . . . work is done").
  4. Discuss what these prophecies suggest about the future.  Talk about specific ways we can take a greater part or prepare to take a greater part in these events.

For Kids:

  1. Talk about how our time (the Restoration/the Fulness of Times/etc.) has been seen and known about since the beginning of time.
  2. Read Acts 3:21 and explain that the restitution of all things in these verses refers to the restoration.
  3. Read par. 12 ("To a small . . . fill the world") and point out that there is still a lot of work to do.
  4. Talk about how the kids can be missionaries now and prepare to be full-time missionaries in the future.
